Does Ann Arbor Smiles Accept My Dental Insurance?

In an effort to make dental care accessible for everyone, we accept most major dental insurance plans and many plans from smaller insurance providers as well. Some of the insurance plans accepted include Delta Dental, Blue Cross Blue Shield , Cigna, MetLife, Connection Dental Network and many others.

Please note, dental insurance networks work differently than medical insurance and it’s ultimately your responsibility to know your insurance. There are many plans under each insurance company, but not all employer groups will utilize these networks. We also may be out-of-network with some plans but we do work with most dental plans, and you may not see a significant difference in coverage. Our team is happy to help you find the best financing and/or insurance options.

If you struggle with snoring and sleep apnea, our Apnea Alternatives Team can help. Apnea Alternatives is one of the only dentists in the country that accepts medical insurance for sleep apnea and snoring.

Our oral appliances are considered a medical treatment. Treatment will only be covered by medical insurance. Coverage of therapy varies from policy to policy. A physician referral is required. We are one of the few dentists to accept Medicare. We also work with Priority Health, AETNA, Blue Cross Blue Shield, HAP, TriCare, and Cigna. The most efficient way to determine your potential benefits is for you to contact your insurance company.
