Meet our Staff

Cameron LaFleur

Cameron at Ann Arbor Smiles Dental Group

After graduating from the University of Michigan in 2012 and working overseas for a year for a great company I realized that business was my true passion. I love identifying process gaps, improving systems, and managing and working with people. Upon returning to the states in 2013 I worked for several start up companies. Healthcare, specifically dentistry, offers me a great opportunity to put my skills into practice. I am passionate about creating the best possible dental experience from the minute our patients walk in the door. I am working to complete my MBA from Wayne State University. I enjoy spending time with my incredible wife, Kara, working out, leading several teams at our church, reading, and cheering on my Michigan Wolverines!

Lorenzo Serious About Smiles.

The best part of my career is seeing children in my schedule and being part of teaching them good oral health. It’s been a pleasure watching them grow up from their first cleaning with me to now be in high school and college. I am an Army Veteran, and have been practicing dental hygiene since 2000. My very rewarding career with Ann Arbor Smiles began in 2004. The doctors always provide staff with the latest technology and up to date continuing education courses. Outside of the office I spend time playing softball several days a week and riding my motorcycle.  During the winter months I bowl, lift weights, and play racquetball.

I am so blessed and grateful to be part of such a wonderful and caring team at Ann Arbor Smiles! As a recent graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, I am both excited and prepared to begin my journey as a dental hygienist! My passion for dental hygiene began at a young age when I saw the care and compassion of my hygienists. My dedication to serve grew even more during a dental mission trip to the Dominican Republic, where I was given the opportunity to provide much more than beautiful smiles. In my free time, I love to bike, paint, read, and visit my wonderful family in Cincinnati. My goal is to care for and educate my patients, and to do anything and everything I can to help them love their smiles!

Michelle Serious About Smiles.

I am currently a Bachelor’s student at EMU, completing my science degree in biochemistry. I have always wanted to become a dentist myself, and hope to complete a dental program in a near future. I was introduced to Ann Arbor Smiles by a friend of mine when looking for doctors to shadow and gain some experience in the field. From the first day Smiles staff have been very welcoming, supportive and sapiential, which made my learning experience absolutely amazing. Working with experts of the field and interacting with patients will certainly help me become a better professional as well. Outside of office I love to play sports, piano and travel to explore new places.
